Welcome to my world :)

I’m Charli… a whimsical surrealism artist based out of Sydney, Australia.

My art represents my inner world and a way of exploring something I’ve come to understand about myself: that my fascination with nostalgia and wonder comes from a longing for those positive childhood experiences I missed out on growing up.

I’m drawn to the things that made childhood feel magical, like imagination, make-believe, curiosity, play, storytelling, and that feeling that anything is possible, all while exploring what it means to carry them with us into adulthood.

Sometimes my work is playful and light, and sometimes there’s something a little more melancholic to it.

Ultimately, I hope my art gives you a place to escape to. Somewhere that reminds you of the way the world felt when you were little, and perhaps reminds you that you don’t have to leave all of that behind now that you’re grown up.
